The place is full.
You look around and see many faces; some familiar and some not.
Everyone is dressed up in their best suits and dresses.
It’s an important event, though you are not sure what it is.
You catch the eye of a woman.
She seems very unfamiliar, but in your heart you know her.
She is your friend.
She smiles.
You smile.
The guitar begins to play.
You are nervous; you feel it in the palms of your hands.
Only a few more seconds to go.
You lift up the violin.
You close your eyes and begin to play the song.
You don’t know how to play the violin, but the song comes out perfectly.
You open your eyes and continue to play.
You see a procession of people.
Is it a wedding? Is it a funeral? Is it a graduation?
You do not know why you are there.
You and the guitar player look at each other.
She is also someone you somehow know yet is unfamiliar to you.
You are both playing perfectly and in sync.
You close your eyes to finish the last part of the song.
The song ends.
You open your eyes to applause.
You feel embarrassed by the attention.
The applause seems inappropriate because of the event (which you are still unsure of what it really is).
You, again, smile at the friend in the audience.
You turn to the guitarist.
She smiles, hugs, and kisses you.
She is your girlfriend.
You are sure you’ve never seen her, but you know how important she is to you.
You were brought together by music some time ago.
She loves you.
You love her.
For the rest of the evening you play music together for this event.
Your joy is felt and heard in how you play the piano.
The event is over.
You look for your girlfriend, but she is nowhere to be seen.
The heat in the building grows.
Everyone is walking out.
It’s getting hotter and hotter, but you continue to search for her.
You hate the heat.
Suddenly, you hear rain.
You walk towards the sound and find that it is raining inside of the building.
There are clouds, there is lighting, and thunder can be heard.
There is a storm inside of the building.
You see her.
She is standing in the rain waiting for you.
She knew you’d find her in your favorite of places.
You go to her.
You wake up.
And, below, we have the song that caused this dream (called Radical Dreamers).
