I forgive you. We were just a couple of kids tryin’ to figure out how to live doing it our way. No shame, no blame, ‘cause the damage is done and I forgive you.

Kelly Clarkson – I Forgive You

I heard this leaked KC song and it immediately reminded me of someone I once knew that hurt me a great deal. It wasn’t too long ago, but it feels like we were so much younger than we actually were. In a lot of ways we were just kids.

But, as the song suggests, I do have a new attitude on things, one that developed a while ago actually.

There’s no real point to this section I suppose, but I guess I just felt like telling that person I forgive them. Well, if they ever read this, of course, haha. 

Oh, and the title of this section is actually a completely different song, but anytime I think of forgiveness that song pops into my head. It’s from the movie Just Friends.

Thoughts…

• So what should one do when they have feelings for someone they have no real chance with?
• Do you risk it, or do you not? Hmm…
• That darn Nyan Cat still makes me laugh! I like the original, but I’ve grown fond of the jazz version too. I can’t listen to all 14 minutes of the jazz version, but it still cracks me up.

• My car hit 160,000 miles a few days ago. That’s a lot of miles!

• Harry Potter is ending soon. Who’s excited? Not me! lol. I’ve seen all the other movies, so I’ll be going to see this final one. I’m not overly excited for it like a lot of other people are, though.
• You know what movie I am excited for and have been excited for all year that nobody else I know is excited for? Cowboys & Aliens! I have been dying to see that movie since I saw the first preview of it! It has cowboys! It has aliens! It has an always hot Olivia Wilde! How can people not be excited for this movie?!
• You know what movie sucked? No, it wasn’t Transformers 3. That was actually decent. I’ll tell you what movie sucked: The Green Lantern! That movie was not good. If you haven’t seen it already, then wait until you can see it for free before you do.
• In a little more than a month I’ll be in California. 
• I’m not excited about it. I try to be, but I just cant’ get myself to be. This is how I usually am, though. If I ever have somewhere to be or having a party or something, I’m always completely unexcited and actually not really wanting to go or do it.
• Chances are I’ll be fine once I’m actually there and ready to do things!
• And if I’m not, I’m sure Julio and Sara won’t let me stay that way. Friends…such pains in the butt they can be, hehehe.
• Seems the consensus around the Internets is that Mac OS X Lion will come out this week. I’m always super excited when I get to upgrade to a new operating system! That’s the geek in me.
• I wonder if it’ll be as seamless as they say it will coming from the Mac App Store…hmm…

Things I’m Currently Sick of:

1. The Cubs being beyond terrible
2. Random, unexplainable nervousness
3. Having feelings for someone. Well, I’m not really sick of it exactly, but it’s going in this section anyway!

Things I’m Not Currently Sick of:

1. Hearing new Kelly Clarkson songs (though it sucks her songs leak so easily).
2. The Nyan Cat. I almost hope Sara calls me randomly just so I hear the Nyan Cat ringtone I made for her calling, lol.
3. Strawberries. I have some great strawberries in the fridge that I’ve been eating today. So. Incredibly. Delicious.
