Not Writing in Orange (or Just Thoughts 5)

Another post by me in such a short time? Wow, the world must be going crazy (or maybe I am).

  • A few weeks ago the Blu-ray drive in my PS3 decided to stop working properly.
  • I haven’t decided if I’m just going to buy a new PS3 or just be without one for the foreseeable future.
  • The president of Egypt is something else.
  • He’s basically said “I hear your outcry for me to leave, so I’m going to fire everyone but me and replace them all myself.”
  • After that didn’t make the people happy, he responded with “I hear your outcry for me to leave, so I’m going to remain president but transfer a lot of my power to the vice president that I hired two weeks ago.”
  • Something tells me none of this will end well for him or Egypt.
  • On a happier subject, Spring Training is coming up soon! Yay baseball season!
  • I’m definitely looking forward to going to some Cubs games this year, so be ready Nikki and Lauren!
  • Will the Cubs do well this year? I have no clue. I just hope they’re at least respectable.
  • I’ve been talking to myself an unusual amount lately.
  • I guess I’ve just been lost in thought during my drives or train rides that I start thinking out loud.
  • I try to keep that to a minimum on the train, though, so I don’t look like I’m nuts!
  • Speaking of which, my cousin gave that song to me…guess I’ll have to give it more of a chance…ugh!
  • My computer is now out of warranty.
  • That means I’ve had it for three years now. I didn’t realize it’s been so long.
  • Guess that explains why it feels slow to me these days. Poor Kelly (yes, I named my MacBook Kelly. Also, my iPad is named Blair and my iPhone is named Samantha).

Yeah…I think I’m done now.

Things I’m currently sick of:

  1. Not being able to finish Final Fantasy XIII (stupid broken PS3)
  2. Snow (but I know we’ll get more)
  3. Procrastination

Things I’m not currently sick of:

  1. Root beer floats
  2. Reading
  3. The following women:
  • Olive Wilde
  • Emma Stone
  • Rachel Nichols
  • Emily Blunt (and I just learned that Michael Bublé wrote his song Everything about her while they were dating and that she sang background vocals at the end of his version of Me and Mrs. Jones)
